I am excited to announce that this is a significant year for our parent company, MedPro Group, marking its 125th year delivering solutions for its stakeholders. Attorney Protective likewise celebrates its own exciting milestone this year – 15 years of writing legal malpractice insurance for many of the most respected law firms in the country. As we reflect on our 15th anniversary, I am reminded how crystal clear our division’s expectations have been in terms of building a stellar subsidiary.

While no one can forecast exactly what happens next, if I had a crystal ball, my prediction would be that the next 15 years for AttPro will be much like the first. We will grow responsibly in whatever market conditions are presented by following three clear objectives: (i) remaining obsessively client focused for both our distribution network and mutual law firm clientele; (ii) staying the course on execution of risk selection and rate adequacy; and (iii) continuing to attract and develop from within top-notch industry talent that is best positioned to understand these objectives and deliver across the finish line. In doing so, AttPro will remain robust in its stellar risk management offerings, speed-to-market capabilities, superb claims services, and overall product solutions. I am excited to begin the next 15 years with an amazing collection of talented individuals and look forward to the endless possibilities the future holds for our program.

Attorney Protective has built a reputation for consistency, integrity, and overall reliability. This is due to remaining true to our vision and approach to our 100-year plan. We will continue to revisit our core objectives and values and always use them as our guiding light on the mission to become an industry leader in our space. That is why I am confident we can navigate the ever-changing and evolving industry landscapes. We are so fortunate and grateful to our trusted business partners, loyal insureds, and strong employee base that have helped us shape who we are today. Thanks for believing and trusting in our vision. Looking forward to the next 15 years as we forge ahead with our 100-year plan and continue to build towards being a national leader in legal malpractice insurance!

Leadership

As our dedicated agency and broker partners have heard time and again, we are challenged as a Berkshire Hathaway company to build a business with the mindset and vision of a “100-year Outlook.” And that is what we did 15 years ago and what we will continue to do. When AttPro was established, we had a clear vision of how to tackle our entry in the LPL market space. We envisioned an approach clearly focused on taking care of three groups: our insured lawyers, our agents, and ourselves.

Law Firm Management

Everyone generally accepts the proposition today that diversity + inclusion in the workplace is a laudable and worthwhile objective.

Law Firm Management

The benefits of having a diverse workplace are well established and in the world of business the lack of diversity can have a negative effect on a company’s bottom line, as well as negative social consequences for society’s future. The legal profession, however, has not taken full advantage of the business benefits of diversity and inclusion.
